The Datacard 125 Embosser is designed for low volume use where data is input through a PC computer with a standard serial port (Com1 or Com2). The 125 embosses one card at a time which is loaded manually. Fonts include OCR number characters spaced at 7 characters per inch and alphanumeric characters spaced at 10 characters per inch. These look like the characters on traditional credit cards. Color tipping of the embossed characters and/or encoding of a magnetic stripe must be done on separate equipment.
